MEMPHIS, TN (March 18, 2020) – The second annual Spirits and Soul Fest, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25 in downtown Memphis, has been cancelled. Event organizers, Old Dominick Distillery and the Tennessee Distillers Guild, decided to cancel the event in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidelines to avoid in-person events of 50 or more people for the next eight weeks in an effort to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, COVID-19.
“We are planning to bring the festival back in 2021, and it will be better than ever with two years’ worth of planning,” said Alex Castle, Old Dominick Distillery’s master distiller and Tennessee Distillers Guild board member.
The next Spirits and Soul Fest is slated to take place on Friday, April 23 through Saturday, April 24, 2021.
Ticketholders will be refunded automatically via Eventbrite and receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of event cancellation.
